Edited - On version 1.31 the developer solved all the problems. Now the app is working as it should be. Great app!! Probably the most complete of this kind. Thanks, Wyllys. version 1.25 - I tried to create keys four times, the app crashed on two. Every time a try to decrypt a file with .jpg or .rtf the app crashed. Another app decrypted the same file flawless. I am done... 2$ on trash, but I am happy for uninstalled it. This is my first bad review. Dont believe on good reviews on US App Store!!!
whats the intention of releasing a pgp mail decryption app without email functionality? Working even with a low count of email traffic must be especially cruel. For me, unfortunately, the money is lost.
works fine on both iphone and ipad along with gpg suite.
But we need a ui update. Sometimes it doesnt fit the screen size of the iphone. For example in the settings. And you need to support the launcher
When I enable TouchID it is still possible to access the App just by clicking cancel and entering any 4 digit Code. Very unsafe! Also iPhone 6 support is missing.
the last update eats my sec and my public keyring. this isnt nice or funny!
Still the best crypto mail app in the store.
The App is crashing completely on startup. Please fix that.
The app is okay. I really like the ability to import keys via AirDrop or iTunes from a safety perspective this is the only acceptable way to do this. However I am really missing some features. I think the app should provide the ability to paste a password from clipboard while using a private key. It would improve the usability a lot and it would also be a good protection against key loggers. If the developer thinks about implementing this he should also consider some kind of a password manager integration. The 1Password integration of the mobile Safari browser is a good example for what I am having in mind.
Successive feature downgrade. 1. Sorting files by name or date is no longer possible 2. in earlier versions files could be decrypted with preview in file area, until lately text files had to be copied and pasted to the decrypt area. 3. Now even this doesnt work anymore.
I used this app regularly in the past and I liked it, but the current version dropped support for my iPhone 5 (for no reason?). Please bring back support for iPhone 5 (current iOS 9.3.2 is installed)!
Good and everything works but it could be more userfriendly
Funktioniert hervorragend.
The app works well for me. The cloud sync is very handy. What I am really missing is a CC: option in the email composing section and ideally a default value to be set for that in the settings. Also finger print support would be nice.
Issues encountered so far: * searching keyserver fails if there is a space in the search field * trying to add a public key from a keyserver does nothing * app will only store RSA keys Functionality / UX is hampered by iOS limitations, but otherwise, seems to have potential.
A lot has been written about the lack of security on the iPad and iPhone. This app provides a great solution for those who want to send and receive PGP encrypted messages or files, or who want to be able to store PGP encrypted files on their iPad or iPhone. It works for PGP encrypted MS Word, Excel, PDF and TXT files. For those who travel a lot and want to be able to store documents securely on their mobile device, this is an ideal solution. Its also great because you can send and receive PGP encrypted emails over non-secured public WiFi hotspots. Customer service by the developers is outstanding. I sent a support request regarding an issue I had in a previous version, and received an email response in less than one hour. They stayed in contact with me until the issue was resolved, and released a new version within a few days thereafter. Very impressive!
I agree with the earlier 5 star review. Simple to use. Great tool for encrypting files on DropBox. I now have access to encryption on all my devices.
Love it. Perfect for OpenPGP on the go... Just have to test how secure the application is at protecting the Sec Key and if it is held encrypted in the application
Buggy. Cant get this to work.
